About the program

                     Traditional clothes in Ajara

The purpose of the program is to introduce the participants about traditional Ajarian clothing according to the material presented in the exposition. Special attention will be paid to women’s clothing and its individual element, which preserve both pure Georgian and various ornament of foreign influence.

The program is based on an interactive teaching method, saturated with audio-video material. At the end of the program, adults will draw traditional Ajarian clothes based on the material they have seen. They will make headwear and clothing accessories decorated with Georgian ornament.

     The program is intended for: V-XII class students.

      Duration of the program: 60-90 minutes.
